1) MERCOSUR:
Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) is a customs union comprising Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Venezuela's status within the bloc is not clear: It does not exercise the rights of a full member but it is clearly they have more than just an associated state. Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru have associate status.
Its main purpose was to create a zone of free trade of goods, services and production cooperation among the involved countries, with the elimination of customs duties and the gradual reduction of tariffs between Mercosur and the signatory countries.
Goods must be accompanied by a document adopted by the parties attesting to compliance with the requirements of origin: Mercosur Certificate of Origin.
2) SGP:
General System of Preferences (GSP) is an unilateral trade preferences granted to developing countries, which is the case of Brazil.
The SGP´s country members are: Japan, USA, Canada and the European Union (Germany - Austria - Belgium - Bulgaria - Cyprus - Denmark - Spain - Slovakia - Slovenia - Estonia - Finland - France - Greece - Hungary - Ireland - Italy - Latvia - Lithuania - Luxembourg - Malta - The Netherlands - Poland - Portugal - United Kingdom - Czech Republic - Romania and Sweden).
The main aim is to promote the diversification of economies. This program provides preferential tariff treatment to more than 5,000 imported products from some 150 developing nations, which are exempt from taxes and customs duties.
In this case, the Certificate of Origin (Form A) must be issued to the exported goods, in accordance with specifications that correspond to compliance with the provisions of the agreement.
We will inform you whether the spare parts of you pricing request are listed in this program of import duty reduction in your country.
